Dr. Newton completed a residency in family medicine, serving as Co-Chief Resident in the final year, after graduating from Meharry Medical College.

 

Over the past twelve years, she has performed primary care surgical procedures, as well as, bedside surgical wound debridement throughout Alabama and Georgia while working in Urgent Care and Wound Care.

Dr. Newton is board certified in family medicine and currently provides primary care virtually and in the office.
